You can enjoy a little of the excitement and energy of a rock festival and none of the mud, heat, or cold when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opens its new exhibit Common Ground: The Rock Festival Experience.
The multi-media exhibit will cover the history of festivals from such early examples as the Monterey Festival that made the reputation of Janis Joplin to today’s celebrity hipster scene at Coachella.
It will also feature the top 10 festival performances chosen by an online vote that closed in early April. A montage of the winning performances will be part of the show
It’s free with regular Rock Hall admission: $22 adults, $18 Greater Cleveland residents, $13 kids 9-12.
