Those of you who didn’t want to brave the chilly, wet weather to head out to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park for its first jam fest of the year can listen to a couple of the same bands indoors in the cozy confines of the Kent Stage.
Akron’s Aliver Hall and Cleveland’s Tropidelic (originally from Kent), who helped open the Nelson Ledges season, will be playing, along with Columbus’ tireless Ekoostik Hookah, who have been rocking the regional jazz scene for more than two decades. The band has nailed the rootsy side of this communal sound and made a lot of friends and fans over the years with its Hookahville festivals, maintaining relative musical consistency despite some significant member changes.
Tickets are $15.
