Night at the Movies @CleveOrchestra Goes Psycho

Tue 4/22 @ 7:30PM

One of the classics among horror films, Psycho (the original 1960 Alfred Hitchcock version starring Anthony Perkins and Janet Leigh, not the unnecessary 1998 remake) is one of those films that can give you many sleepless nights and make taking a shower a fraught process.

So be warned before going to Severance Hall for the latest edition of the Cleveland Orchestra’s Night at the Movies. They’ll be playing the score by Hitchcock’s favorite composer Bernard Herrmann, designed to keep you on edge as much as what’s going on on the screen. Cleveland Orchestra assistant conductor Brett Mitchell leads the orchestra.

The movie will be projected on a large screen above the stage so you don’t have to use your imagination, as evocative as the score is. Actually, that might be worse!

Tickets are $40-$150.
