Fri 5/30 @ 11AM

Sat 5/31 @ 8PM

After this weekend, the Cleveland Orchestra bids farewell to Severance Hall until October, moving in July to its summer home at Blossom Music Center.

For its season finale, guest conductor Vladimir Jurowski will lead the orchestra in three pieces from the first half of the 20th century. They include Prokofiev’s evocative score for the ballet Cinderella, Stravinsky’s Scherzo fantastique and, at the Thursday and Saturday evening, Benjamin Britten’s Violin Concerto. The concerto will feature 36-year-old Dutch violinist Janine Jansen in the solo slot.

Tickets are $31-$149.
