Cleveland Burlesque Queen Bella Sin Hosts Benefit for Mom @BeachlandCle

Thu 5/29 @ 7PM

Bella Sin (pictured) has given her all to the local arts and advocacy communities. She’s the founder and director of Le Femme Mystique, northeast Ohio’s premiere neo-burlesque troupe, as well as the Ohio Burlesque Festival, and she’s one of its standout performers. She’s taught burlesque classes, encouraged variety performers of all types, volunteered to be on the organizing team for Cleveland Pride, and been active in work for LGBT and women’s causes. She’s a dynamo.

Now she needs the community’s help. Her beloved mother, who lives in Denver, was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. She’d like to ease some of the financial stress on her mom. But Bella has never been one to take without giving. So she’s put together a lineup of quality entertainment for a benefit show she’s calling “A Song for Mama.”

There will be burlesque performers, of course, including Bella herself, with Jezabelle von Jane coming in from Alabama and Bella La Blanc coming from Washington. There will be several drag performers and a belly dancer. The show starts at 8 pm, but you may want to get there when the doors open at 7 to check out the raffle prizes.

Tickets are only $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
