Have a Cold Brew & Get Some Climate News @pjmcintyres

Sun 6/1 @2-5PM

So what’s the deal with climate change? While the media struggles to make the debate look like “both sides” have an equal amount of truth and radical righties dismiss the whole thing as some kind of plot, what does scientific evidence say?

Join a group of area organizations concerned with the environment for “Cold Brews and Climate News,” an afternoon information session hosted by state representative Mike Foley and state senator Mike Skindell.

It takes place at P.J. Mcintyre’s at Kamms Corner — hence the easy availability of the “cold brews” — where speakers from the NASA Glenn Research Center, the Cleveland Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, and the Blue Green Alliance will answer questions about what’s going on with our weather and explain why one exceptionally cold winter doesn’t mean the whole thing is a hoax, no matter what Plain Dealer columnist Kevin O’Brien says.

Sponsoring groups include Environmental Health Watch, the George Gund Foundation, Common Good Ohio, the National Wildlife Federation, Mom’s Clean Air-Force, the Ohio Sierra Club, and Audubon.

It’s free. Get Foley and Skindell to buy you a beer.
