It won’t be long now until summer is in full swing again. And one long-running popular concert series is set to begin in a few weeks. The full schedule for Wade Oval Wednesdays, taking place every week from 6/11-8/27 in University Circle, has been announced.
There are some old favorites (you can always count on seeing Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band) as well as some new artists. But what’s great about this series is among a few of the inevitable classic cover bands that many summer concert series rely on, you’ll find a wide range of genres and even some original bands. Food vendors are on hand so bring a chair or blanket ad eat on the grass. On a couple of the evenings, when the band finishes up at 9, an outdoor movie screening starts.
Here’s the full schedule. All the concerts are free.
