Near West Theatre is saying goodbye to its 36-year home, the St. Patrick’s Club. NWT will stage one final play — an all-original production called Move On! — at 3606 Bridge Ave. before moving to its new venue at W. 67th and Detroit Ave. Be there to say goodbye and watch as this community gem of an organization moves on to a bigger stage (literally and figuratively).
Move On! is a 90-minute one-act show of reflections and music featuring projected pictures and video evoking the healing, transformative power of theater. Be inspired by NWT — whose actors are local children, teens and adults from all walks of life — in this final farewell performance. Get tix early because you know this will be a full house.
