MOCA Cleveland concludes their 4-part DIRGE Lecture Series this week with Beyond the Body: The Creative Spirit. Chuck Beherns, chaplain for the Hospice of the Western Reserve, will discuss roles religion and spirituality play in our understanding of death and mortality. Beherns will use examples from MOCA’s current exhibition, DIRGE: Reflections on (Life and) Death, to articulate how creative expression can be used to explore mortality.
