Throughout the ’90s, Leisha Hailey was one half of the indie pop duo the Murmurs, an all-female band known for their sweet, but lively, harmony-drenched sound. She took a break from music in the mid 2000s to act in the TV series The L Word. Camila Gray was a backing musician for performers like Adam Lambert, Kelly Osbourne and Busta Rhymes.
In 2007, the two musicians joined forces to form the mellifluously named Uh Huh Her. They’ve just released their third full-length album, Future Souls, which displays a dancey new wave/synth-pop influence.
The group will perform at the House of Blues Cambridge Room with Los Angeles house/garage DJ Kim Anh opening. Get ready to move.
Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 day of show.
