Cellar Door Cleveland has been booking local bands for some of the hottest shows in town for the last year and a half, including its own Cellar Door Rendezvous, Ingenuity, Weapons of Mass Creation, and the inaugural Heights Arts Hop. It’s been instrumental in raising the profile of some of the many talented artists currently emerging in the area.
Now it’s partnered with Yelp to book the bands for its Culture Club Kick-Off Red Party at the House of Blues. The event will feature win, local food, and four terrific local artists: a classic-rock flavored Commonwealth, energetic pop rockers These Knees (pictured), Max Stern of punk band Signals Midwest and his more introspective project Meridian, and singer/songwriter Carrie Ryan. All of them are well worth checking out.
The party will also feature interactive art courtesy of MOCA and a Dodd’s photo booth. Guests are encouraged to wear red — because it’s a Red Party, of course.
It’s free but you need to RSVP. Go here to do so.
