Two of the most beautiful places in Northeast Ohio are teaming up. Holden Arboretum recently announced that it’s exploring a possible unification project with the Cleveland Botanical Garden to, per Holden’s PR, “create one entity with the common mission of improving the world through plants.” Together the organizations hope to have a greater impact… and create the 13th largest public garden in the country.
“A combined organization would have a strong scientific foundation of research, plant collections and community outreach while also being attractive to families and visitors— hallmarks of the nation’s finest public gardens,” says Clement W. Hamilton, President and CEO of The Holden Arboretum in Lake and Geauga Counties.
