Wed 7/2 @ 6PM
Few area acts are more in demand for summer concert series than Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band. Their languid roots reggae encourages people to get up and dance, and Jones’ own sunny, upbeat personality leaves listeners feeling good.
The band plays two of the major concert series this week. On Wed 6/25 they’ll be at Music at the Meadow at Howe Meadow in Peninsula, the series sponsored by Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The music starts at 6:30 pm, but come at 5:30 with your picnic and enjoy games and other activities — very kid-friendly.
Then on the following Wednesday, 7/2, Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band make what’s become an annual appearance for them at Wade Oval Wednesdays. Bring your blanket or chair, plan to buy something to eat from the many vendors that participate and soak in the music until dark.
Both events are free.
