Downtown Farmers Market Moves Outdoors to Public Square

Fri 6/13 @ 11AM-2PM

The Downtown Farmers Market moves back outside to Public Square this week, after a break of a few weeks following its winter market indoors at the 5th Street Arcade.

Through September 26, the open-air market will feature an increased number of vendors with an increasing variety of products as the harvest rolls in. In particular, they’re promising more produce and more prepared, ready-to-eat items for the downtown lunch crowd.

Each market will also feature cooking demonstrations and live music. Kicking it off is folk/rock/Americana artist Brent Kirby, who performs around town in many configurations and with several bands. His strong material makes him a popular solo artist as well.

The opening market will also feature free freshly shucked oysters from CLE on the Half Shell (while supplies last, so get down there early), served with condiments made from local ingredients.
