Edgewater Park will be the place to be on Thursday evenings this summer, with food trucks, music, and even free yoga classes. The Cleveland Metroparks is wasting no time since taking over Cleveland’s beaches, revamping and rebranding them as cool places to hang out. They’re calling this series Edgewater LIVE and billing it as a new kind of happy hour.
Live music starts this week and runs through August 14, and it’s a mixed bag of bands to say the least. The week ’80s cover band the Breakfast Club plays. But the rest of the schedule includes one of the area’s most exciting original Americana acts, Shivering Timbers (6/26), original indie rockers Filmstrip (7/3), Irish band Brigid’s Cross, with the Cannon Irish dancers (7/10), and Charles Hill, Jr.’s raw country (8/7), among others.
Each week will feature three food trucks. 216 Bistro, Nosh Box, and Motor Mouth will be providing eats this week. Find the full lineup of bands and food trucks here.
