Pray for better weather than on Wednesday June 25 when Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band got rained out of their annual Music in the Meadow gig at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Howe Meadow.
This week — weather permitting — Cleveland’s Pitch the Peat will fill the meadow with their spirit-lifting, feet-moving Celtic music. The quartet of experienced musicians includes three Clevelanders and an Irishman, who play their lively Irish-meets-contemporary-pop music on acoustic instruments like guitar, flute, fiddle, whistle, accordion, and bodhran.
Doors open at 5:30 for picnicking, games & family activities. Music starts at 6:30.
It’s free.
