Kent-based pop punk quartet Halfway Home cites a litany of popular bands as influences, including Foo Fighters, New Found Glory, Paramore, Senses Fail, and Green Day. So you can pretty much tell what they sound like, with their surging melodies and boyish, open-throated vocals.
And even if it’s been done a thousand times, there’s still an insatiable market out there for the type of earnest, antsy tunes found on their new album Somniloquy.
They’ll be celebrating its release with a show at Musica with Hit the Ground Running, Hello Weekend, and A Song for Her.
