Make Your Own Mustard @ClevelandFlea

Sat 6/14 @ 1:30-2PM

There are a lot of things that make the monthly Cleveland Flea, now in its second year, special. Certainly the whole parking lot at Sterle’s Country House filled with local vendors of the beautiful, unusual, and handcrafted, along with locally produced food and drink, is at the top of the list.

This year, the Cleveland Flea has added workshops conducted by the area makers and creators that change from month to month. Oberlin’s Agrarian Collective, known as leaders in the local sustainable food movement, is hosting a series of Hunt and Gather workshops.

This month, the topic is mustard, and they are not going to have you go out and buy some stadium mustard. Participants are invited to bring a container — maybe even a vintage or hand-blown one they’ve bought at the Flea — to hold the mustard they’ll learn to make from scratch.

While the Flea itself is free, the workshops are $25. And you must register in advance. Go here.
