Old-School Industrial Music With MLWTTKK @ClevelandAgora

Tue 6/17 @ 7PM

The peak years of techno-industrial music are long past. But some of the genres pioneers, like My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, soldier on. Along with label mates on the Wax Trax label like Front 242, Front Line Assembly, Meat Beat Manifesto and KMFDM, the group pioneered the dark, throbbing, propulsive, and undeniably catchy form of electronic music that laid the groundwork for Nine Inch Nails to take the music mainstream.

The group, basically a project of Frankie Nardiello and Marston Daley along with their handpicked cast numbering in the dozens over the years, has remained active since 1987. They’re out on the road supporting a brand new album called Spooky Tricks. They’re bringing DJ Toxic Rainbow along to open the show, which stops at the Agora Ballroom.

Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door.
