The Sammy DeLeon Band kicked off Lake View Cemetery‘s summer concert series with a set of high-energy Latin jazz. Lawn chairs and blankets ringed the sloping lawn adjacent to the Garfield Memorial on a perfect sunny Sunday afternoon.
The concerts continue with swing/jump/blues band Blue Lunch on Sun 6/29. ’60s folk revivalists Long Road on Sun 7/20, and alt country/Americana ensemble Rachel Brown & the Beatnik Playboys on Sun 8/3 .
