Tickets Now On Sale For Roar Along The Shore IV

Fri 9/5 @ 8PM

Danielle Deboe’s Roar Along the Shore keeps getting bigger and better.

The local entrepreneur (she owned room Service and Dredgers Union and now has an event-planning business) dreamed up this floating concert event in 2011. Featuring some of the hottest local bands aboard the Goodtime III as it cruises the lakeshore, it’s been a sellout every year.

Tickets are now on sale for Roar IV, and you might want to get ’em early. One of the area’s fastest rising groups, neo-soulsters Wesley Bright & the Hi-Lites (pictured), head up the list of bands. They’ll be joined by bluesy heavy rockers the Suede Brothers, purveyors of raw-boned noise rock All Dinosaurs, sound-shifting indie scene veterans the Stereo Workers Union, and dreamy psychedelic power-pop newcomers Nowhere, who suddenly seem to be everywhere.

The boat will board at 8 and cruise until midnight. There’ll be more entertainment while you’re waiting to board, and food trucks before and after to take care of your munchies (Drinks will be available shipboard, of course).

Tickets are $31. Go here to order.
