Two new exhibitions are opening at Transformation Station. UNKNOWN: Pictures of Strangers focuses on issues of privacy, voyeurism and anonymity that accompany the act of photographing strangers and the anonymous portrait.
Transit Byzantium is a a new three-channel video installation by New York photographer and teacher Tim Davis. The work, filmed in Cleveland in 2013, is a “hypnotic portrait of the city and its people.” Davis attached a camera to his car and tracked pedestrians walking the city streets. The film will be presented life-size on three contiguous screens.
