Thu 8/7 – Sat 8/9
Let’s talk about it. Baldwin Wallace University is hosting a National Conference on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Health Research just prior to the Gay Games.
Hear about current issues in LGBTI research such as the impact of bullying, ongoing ramifications of HIV and high rates of smoking. The conference is free and open to everyone — students, researchers, and community members alike.
Take part in training opportunities, network with current researchers and hear speakers from the Center for American Progress, Center of Excellence for Transgender Health at UCSF, Columbia University, Fenway Institute, Indiana University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Minnesota, Williams Institute, UCLA and San Fransisco Department of Pubic Health, along with representatives from Latin America and India.
