The intimate Lock 4 outdoor space behind the Akron Civic Theatre in downtown Akron is a perfect urban space to hear some quality music. That’s why it’s running the LockBottom Blues & Jazz Club every Wednesday throughout the summer.
This week you can hear one of the area’s jazz treasures, sax player Ernie Krivda, who has built an international reputation as a recording artist while keeping his Cleveland base, teaching, mentoring younger players, and gigging around the area in a variety of formats.
Food and drink will be available for purchase. The concert itself is free.
The shows run through 9/3.
