For its regular monthly free music showcase, the Wine Spot on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights calls itself the Music Spot. It partners with Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present & Future and Cleveland ChamberFest to spotlight local talent.
In June, it offered two gifted women, each performing solo. Jenna Fournier also performs with her shoegaze-style band NIGHTS but on this night it was just her, her guitar, and her sleek, dreamy vocals.
Christa Ebert always performs solo, calling herself Uno Lady. Her engrossing act involves manipulation and layering of her own vocals, constructing her often very catchy tunes as she plays.
