Tofu Made Simple & Tasty at the Cleveland Heights Library

Thu 7/17 @ 6:30PM

Are you put off by tofu? Or just completely baffled by that slimy, slithery hunk of …. what exactly is it again?

The Cleveland Animal Rights Alliance, which as its name implies would like you to stop eating meat, is offering a free demonstration called “Demystifying Tofu,” where local plant nutrition advisor Rebecca Dingle will try to convince you that tofu can be as tasty as bacon.

She’ll explain what different types of tofu there are and how to use them in salads, desserts, and other dishes. We presume she’ll let you taste and decide for yourself just how appealing this soy-based hunk of …stuff … is.

The program takes place at the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library at the main branch on Lee Road.
