Jim Henke returned to his hometown of Cleveland in 1995 when the rock Hall opened to be its vice president of curatorial affairs, a position he held until late 2012. In the intervening years, he’d been in New York, being a Rolling Stone writer and editor. He’s also written books about John Lennon, Jim Morrison, and Bob Marley.
The Cleveland Heights resident will be stopping Tuesdays on Coventry in the parking lot next to Marc’s where he’ll sign copies of Marley Legend: An Illustrated Life of Bob Marley at the tent sponsored by Coventry independent bookstore Mac’s Backs. Stop by and chat with him about rock & roll or anything going on in the community.
There’ll also be live music by the Vernon Jones Blues Cartel, as well as local vendors of various things.
It’s free.
