You gotta love Ohio in the summertime. Not only do we have corn fests and a Garlic Fest, there’s also a Zucchini Fest. The 2-day fest, now in its 3rd year, is a family-oriented event in Chardon offering crafters, a Chinese auction, food, games “for the young at heart,” zucchini decorating, a zucchini cooking contest and, even, a Zucchini Idol talent competition. Celebrate the zucchini in all its glory!
Proceeds benefit the Emerald Field of Troy Campaign, which seeks to build a $3 million facility serving people with mental disorders.
