The Flea is back at its new location at Tyler Village for the month of August, with all the elements that have made it such a hit in the last year and a half, including its hunt & gather workshops, hosted by Geauga County’s Agrarian Collective.
This month’s 35-minute workshop (so it won’t take too much time away from browsing the rapidly growing marketplace) will teach participants how to make pickles with less fuss and muss, using only a jar, vinegar, and a refrigerator.
As usual, you’re encouraged to shop the Flea first to find an item to use with your workshop creation — perhaps a jar or a serving tray. Then you’ll learn how to pickle a variety of vegetables and take a jar home with you to finish the process in your home fridge.
