Cleveland’s Chimaira leads the Artery Metal tour into Akron’s Rock Factory before it heads west for the month of August, hitting Missouri, Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Washington, California, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma.
The veteran Cleveland metal band, still out on the road promoting its album of last summer, Crown of Phantoms, heads up a bill that also features The Plot in You out of Findlay, Ohio; Italy’s Upon This Dawning; and Colorado’s Allegaeon. All the bands play variations of metal on the heaviest end of the spectrum. Bring earplugs.
