The season for corn fresh off the stalk is too short — but it’s upon us. That’s why the Coit Road Farmers Market’s annual Cliff Schutz Corn Roast takes place now.
During Saturday market hours, Ohio sweet corn will be rolling off the grill. Corn, a BBQ sandwich, sides and beverage will go for only $6, with the money raised benefiting the nonprofit market. There’ll be vegan/vegetarian options for those who take a dim view of BBQ.
