Visitors who are in town for Gay Games 9 (as well as locals) may be looking for something to do in Cleveland mid-week. And if dancing the night away is their thing, the House of Blues has two big nights for them.
Wednesday’s official Gay Games Black Party will feature Chicago-raised, New York-based transgender DJ Honey Dijon (pictured), who matches her spectacular looks with an exceptionally wide-ranging taste in, and grasp of, various types of dance music, including house, tribal, funk, R&B, and disco. DJ Saint will also be on hand with his music mix.
The following night, the music at the Gay Games Gold Party will be provided by Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter Tony Moran, who has worked with the likes of Madonna, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, and Britney Spears during his three-decade career, stamping his name on hundreds of dance singles. Cleveland DJ Robin Harris joins him.
Each night is $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
