Case Western Reserve University radio station WRUW 91.1 FM hosted its 33rd annual Studio-A-Rama, a free, all-day, all-evening concert taking place in the courtyard behind the Mather Building where the station has its studios.
Although the weather looked threatening early in the day, it held out for the duration of the show. Eleven bands played for a mixed crowd of students, families, and grizzled indie-rock vets. Before the headliners — Minneapolis’ Tacocat and Los Angeles’ Bleached — took the stage late, nine local bands played: Likenessess, Archie & the Bunkers, Cruelster, Bwak Dwagon, Blackgrass Baptism, Murderedman, Kill the Hippies, Black Puddle Murder, and New Planet Trampoline.
