Ensemble Theatre partners w/ the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival to recreate and reimagine Orson Welles’ landmark production of Macbeth. Back in 1936, Welles created a historical production of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy of evilness, Macbeth, casting a company of African-Americans and moving the setting from Scotland to one that evoked Haiti in the 19th Century.
