Local fiddler Ed Caner, who plays with Americana group Hey Mavis, hosts monthly Sunday house concerts at the Hines Hill Conference Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, where he was formerly artist in residence.
He brings in both local and out-of-town guests. He’s got one of the latter this month, artist-musician Mark Dudrow from the San Luis Valley of south central Colorado, where he settled after attending the College of Wooster and The Ohio State University.
There he plays music — primarily on cello but also guitar and mandolin —with several different groups, teaches cello, creates handmade tile artworks, and enjoys nature.
He and Caner, who’ve collaborated on projects before, will make beautiful music in the beautiful settling of CVNP’s restored barn.
Admission is $8.
