The music of Cleveland’s Hello! 3D, self-described as “psychedelic cumbia” has graced many local stages and festivals with their lively, percussion-driven Latin rhythms influenced by 60s/70s South American cumbia, chicha and Afro-Latin music. It’s definitely “can’t sit still” music that gets crowds up and on their feet. But it’s listening music too; the six musicians who comprise the band are all experienced and outstanding players.
They call it “hot weather music” and wouldn’t you know it? Hot weather arrives just in time for their Beachland Tavern show this Saturday. Dj Teddy Eisenberg will be warming things up and keeping things going, while Goo LaGoon will be providing visuals to enhance the music.
