Hear virtuoso classical guitarist Jason Vieaux on Mon 1/24, as presented by Rocky River Chamber Music Society. The concert is free & open to all.

The scoop:

One of the “youngest stars of the guitar world” (New York Times, 2010), Jason Vieaux is a musician regularly noted for his engaging and virtuosic live performances, imaginative programming, and uncommon communicative gifts.  Recent concert highlights include recitals for Lincoln Center and the 92nd St. Y in New York, Dumbarton Oaks in Washington DC, a debut with the Charlotte Symphony, and recitals for Spivey Hall and the Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum in Boston.  On January 24th, he will perform here in Northeastern Ohio on the acclaimed Rocky River Chamber Music Society series.  Known for his dynamic programming and versatility, Jason will perform music from Bach to Pat Metheny, with multiple trips through Spain.  This is a rare opportunity to hear an international artist performing at home.
