A League of Her Own: Breaking through Barriers & Standing Her Ground!

Thu 3/24 @ 7PM

Every year the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women at CWRU celebrates Women’s History Month in a big way. This year is no different. On Thu 3/24, meet women who’ve broken through barriers and stood their ground in male dominated fields. The “A League of Their Own” event will showcase a panel of women who are highly successful in careers not typically associated w/ women.

About the panel:

Our guest speakers will include Tari S. Rivera (above) who is a entrepreneur and founder of Regency Construction Services Inc., Stephanie Hall who has been a member of the Cleveland Police Department and is now a Police officer for CWRU, and Kate Gunn who is a Professional Gamer. Discuss with the panel the everyday struggles of being the ‘odd woman out’ and look into the lives of women who work in stereotypically male careers.
