On a Tuesday during rush hour, a gaggle of activists in an array of inflatable costumes, calling themselves the Burning River Brigade, took over the pedestrian bridge over route 2 just west of MLK Boulevard, hanging signs connecting the president to the Epstein files and entertaining commuters, who honked in approval, for a couple of hours. Frogs, dinosaurs, colorful avians and unicorns waved American flags and expressed their distaste for the current administation.
